Anyway I am willing to help you. As you said that you are a student of massey university, you will be qualified to get an education copy of Delphi which is cheaper than commercial one. Give Borland New Zealand a call to find a price. Alternatively get a personal copy for free, but that version lack of Delphi source code which you won't learn lot from it. And go to amazon and buy some Delphi developer books which will be significantly cheaper than pay someone to teach you. You can do some open source Delphi/Kylix project to get some more experiences. If you face some questions, first read book and help files, then google, then post questions here. I am sure someone can help you to answer it.
