Standard definitely can do any DB based reports (otherwise what would be the
point of the product), it doesnt need DADE for that.

Also you dont get source with Standard, but you do with the more expensive
options.

I bought 6, then they went to 7 fairly quickly, and wanted another $70 US

The Data Access Enviroment doesnt mean that standard cant create DB based
