I was suspecting our spam filters on our server because I get the occasional DUG message in my spam folder. Kind of takes that quick interactive aspect away when there are huge delays. If its not the news group then I'll have to solve it here another day.
Thanks to Phil Scadden for your suggestions. I've now resolved my Vista issues with shared memory. Looking forward to the other problems I see mentioned on the DUG with certain controls "Not!" hoping its maybe something I can control by com version control in a manifest file anyway. I've separated my updatable files from my read-only and placed in appropriate locations, Moved admin tasks like creating global shared memory to the service. Only using manifest files with "requireAdministartor" now in programs that setup or configure software. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jeremy Coulter > Sent: Friday, 20 April 2007 11:50 a.m. > To: 'NZ Borland Developers Group - Delphi List' > Subject: RE: [DUG] Weird behavior in Vista > > Nope, I am in that boat too Alan.
