Cant set it to zero but unticking the create backup files changes the
error message to
'Unable to rename 'C:\xxx\xx\xx\Client\ChreosClient.$$$ to
C:\xxx\xx\xx\Client\ChreosClient.tlb' ' !!

Have you tried setting your history settings to zero i.e. so it
doesn't save history? (hoping 0 does this :-))
