In my experience it tends to be the other way - stuff or useful tech tools I have written for myself often get copied into work projects simply to avoid reinventing the wheel. I tend to make it a separate unit or make a note in the code that it was orginally from outside, (nothing major as otherwise I would sell it), but certainly lots of code to do with speeding coding,
examples are GST rounding routines rounding up date times to end of day/ end of week/ end or month error logging code copying files with fuzzy logic to allow for date/time stamps having different granularity on different filesystems... and so on.... It makes the line between home > and work a little too blurry. _______________________________________________ NZ Borland Developers Group - Delphi mailing list Post: delphi@delphi.org.nz Admin: http://delphi.org.nz/mailman/listinfo/delphi Unsubscribe: send an email to delphi-requ...@delphi.org.nz with Subject: unsubscribe
