I had an app originally compiled in D7 whose Icon I placed into a
user's startup folder during installation so that it would auto-start with
Windows. At the same time I was also able to shutdown or restart WinXP Pro
without first shutting down this application. I wanted it this way as it
was designed to run automatically and all the time.
But now in an updated version compiled in D2005 and still running on
WinXP pro, it does startup automatically, but if I don't manually exit the
application first Windows will not shutdown or restart!
Does anyone have any idea of what I might look for that could be
causing this?
