Thank you Chris, Zayine, and Eddie for your responses. When I'm home from work today I'll try the LockWindowUpdate method. ... One quick question re: its use. The documentation I looked up about it said that one needs to pass it a Windows handle. Do I just pass in something like "frmMain.Handle" if my controls are all placed within a TForm called frmMain? (Actually, as I think about it, they're all on a PageControl which in turn is part of frmMain...)
