An easier method is to simply use the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run key to save this option, but it will be a per user setting.

So I finally added an option to my application that was turned on by default and automatically added a shortcut Icon to the logged on user's Start folder. If that user didn't want it to start, he could change the option and it would auto-delete the shortcut Icon from just his startup folder. hi _______________________________________________ Delphi mailing list -> Delphi@elists.org http://lists.elists.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/delphi
