I agree completely that the Indy team has seriously neglected their
online presence! It certainly makes the software look neglected. It also
makes the team appear dysfunctional and disorganized.
The biggest problem I see is that the latest development snapshots are
the only way to get recent fixes. They have not organized a "stable
release" in years but prefer to just keep updating the development
version. Your only choice is to just pick a snapshot and go.
That appears to be what happens with the versions that have been
included with recent editions of Delphi. There appears to be little is
any formal QA. If you discover a big you are told to just go get the
latest snapshot.
But you can get good support at the Embarcadero forum and there ARE
people looking after the Indy code.
