Help!
Our two old XP computers died a month apart, so I'm having to reinstall
Delphi 7.1 under the XP Virtual machine of Windows 7 (two
newcomputers). The 7-year-old applications were running fine, so I
don't want to port them to a new platformif I can avoid it.
ONE of the computers (and only one!) produces the fatal complaint
"Property ExplicitHeight does not exist" at run time, when the Rave 8
RvSystem.Execute call is encountered. I have rebuilt all the Ravedcu
and bpl files, to no avail. I also tried deleting all the application
dcu files, to force a recompile. I never had this problem previously in
the original WinXP world. I'm using the same install files as before.
I google-searched on the error message, and the only solution I found
was to rebuild the Rave BPL file using FULLD7.bat, which I have done.
Any other ideas?
