Yes Quick used to ship as a standard component in early Delphi editions
but I believe never included source (so we can't rebuild it).
I would have been an upgrade issue for us as well ! We use Crystal for
most of our reporting but have some legacy stuff that works great with
quick reports (it is code driven).
I suppose that will teach us for being an early adopter :)

Ive been to the code gear site and this deal seem to only be for BDS
2006 people. Do you have contact details for Chee Wee Chua ? I cant
see how to contact him from the site. It seems to take me to a borland
site that requires a support and maintenance contract (which I don't
have).
Ah, without a support contract, unless you want to pay (or he replies
here) I wouldn't bother contacting him. He works at CodeGear support.
Unfortunately I don't know if QuickReports will officially be
available to D2007 - however - I know it was a big sticking point for
people not upgrading, which is why the BDS2006 deal was done.
Hopefully there will be a deal done soon.
Although you can probably purchase a QuickReports license. Perhaps
that is an option. I don't know anything about QuickReports. Does it
ship with source in previous Delphi versions? As I know they sell a
version (which I guess includes source).
