Hi All, We're happy to announce the second milestone release of the REST API for Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager.
Highlights of this milestone release include support for: - an initial implementation of PowerShell instance pooling - HTTP Basic Authorization integrated with RHEVM login - transport-level encryption via HTTPS - PowerShell ConvertTo-Xml usage to simplify output parsing - VM template creation, addition and removal - VM type property specification on creation - VM migration to another host - improved python-based tests - a number of other minor fixes and improvements detailed at [1] Linux and Windows distributions of 0.9-milestone2 may be downloaded from [2]. Signed individual artifacts are also deployed to maven and synch'd up to the Central repository [3]. An updated API reference guide is available[4] and you can visit the project wiki[5] for details of the project mailing list, irc channel, issue tracker, roadmap, etc. As always, feedback is most welcome!
