We had a great Extension in CODI which mapped JSF Scopes to their CDI Scope
counterparts if no @javax.faces.bean.ManagedBean annotation is present.
The Extension warns the users in addition to re-mapping. The reason for this
Extension being so useful is to prevent unintended auto-imports from the wrong
package by the IDEs.
