what are the symptoms you see to determine that Deluge ignores proxy
settings?
Are you running netcat to listen on the proxy port and look for incoming
connections?
Do you wireshark the traffic to make sure the packets that look like
bittorrent all goes to the proxy?
I have been trying to reproduce this without any success, and I'm looking
for clues of differences in our setup.
For instance, keep in mind that when you use an HTTP proxy, only some
traffic can go through it.
