I don't think infinity is technically the correct term, it is displayed like that presumably because you divide by zero. But completion time is not defined when speed is zero, so you have to investigate the limit value as t approaches zero, and from both sides. Maybe even an investigation of the function in complex space would be beneficial to learn about the nature of the singularity.
