Summary: GTK Critical error makes creates window (atk_object_set_name: assertion `name != NULL' failed) Project: GNU Denemo, a gtk+ frontend to GNU Lilypond Submitted by: steele Submitted on: Mon 19 Jul 2010 03:00:30 PM CEST Category: None Severity: 5 - Blocker Item Group: None Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: >From a user: after installing and running ./denemo I get a grey window on the screen, and the terminal prints a lot of " CRITICAL: assertion "<x> != NULL" errors Test: "dialog box" pops up asking which UI to use, then hitting tab & enter loads the grey window mentioned before. The window goes unresponsive and I hit Ctrl^C to kill. Distro: Pure::Dyne (Ubuntu Karmic based) GTK: 2.18.3-1ubuntu2.1 Xorg: 1:7.4 Graphics: 3D accelerated (Ati driver) HD 2400 XT (in a laptop) Kernel: 2.6.31-22-386 (ubuntu Karmic standard) Audio: Tried the built in Intel HDA card, and JACK running on the Intel HDA. To be honest, I think its more this: ** (denemo:13032): CRITICAL **: atk_object_set_name: assertion `name != NULL' failed It prints about 20 of those... Usually when I get those errors after a compile, it doesnt show the widget that caused the message. Ie: 1 per widget leaves a blank window? -Harry _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?30483> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Denemo-devel mailing list Denemo-devel@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/denemo-devel
