With the continuous background typesetting I got this: ** (denemo:9827): WARNING **: Failed to create pipe for communicating with child process (Too many open files)
Curiously there were two of these before a dialog popped up suggesting LilyPond might not be installed. Evidently something is not being closed after each LilyPond run. I'll investigate, meanwhile be cautious with the background updater.
