I have seen a comment somewhere about not un-installing fonts on windows, so I guess this is why they are not deleted by the uninstall script. But I have seen the installer then refusing to copy the new one over the top. I also noticed that, seemingly at random, windows will refuse to move the C:\Program Files\Denemo to the trash because of a font file. On occasions when it has done this I have sometimes looked under the properties of the file, expecting to see it marked in some way as needing special procedures to delete, but without success. I have thought there is probably some entry in the registry about it (to trigger this behavior). Most often, though, I can simply delete it. I have never heard of safe.mode (only "elevated permissions", and recently in windows a further distinction between "system" and some other sort of administrator permission) - how is safe.mode accessed? It will be good to get this sorted out before the next release, as people will be unable to upgrade easily should we change the feta.ttf font ...
