Its safe to partition in VB as long as your using a hard drive image you
created and not an actual drive. Netinstall would be fine I'm sure. No need
for a gui or anything. I'm not sure what all is needed to install after
that.

Another option would be to use "saffron" or the server I gave you access
to. Let me know if you would prefer this option. I could also set up cron
to build nightly. It would take about 2 hours to build for each platform.
