in my local install directory I see three fonts:
/local_denemo/release_1.1.2/share/fonts/truetype/denemo/
Denemo.ttf
emmentaler.ttf
feta.ttf
and nothing more.
nothing under /usr/share... either.
This local install prefix worked before, without this problem.

Also (good news?) I am _not_ getting the crashing after

stuff in preference dialogue and confirming with "OK".
But that
could be because I'm missing some libraries, which were
wiped out
with the upgrade (? would be ironic). Have not tested the new
build any further (in a hurry, plus it's messed up)
