Is there something I missed? Can you locate what causes the > Chord Symbols message? yes, you have empty chord symbols, there is a command in the Chord Symbol menu to delete these. (There is some circumstance in which they cause trouble, well, at least there is for figured bass, if you have accidentally put two staffs with bass figures you need the delete command, it is not enough just to make all the figures the no-figure figure).
