Follow-up Comment #1:
There are three examples of typesetting chords under the
File->Open->Open Example
menu. They are
Independent Chord Symbols
Lead Sheet
Lead Sheet Named Chord Symbols
Depending which method of entering the chords you prefer these are created
using menus
Notes/Rests->Markings->Chord Symbols
or Staffs/Voices->Staff Properties->Chord Symbols (Off/On)
I'm not quite sure what you have done - you could post a tiny example if you
think what you are doing is better than the existing facilities.
