I've tagged the latest release 2.3.0
I hadn't read up on this tag stuff until now, but from what I read the tag
"stable" should not be there - it violates the very idea of a tag, because it
was presumably created with the idea of moving what it tagged to the latest
release. So if no-one disagrees I'll try to delete it.
