Is that to say that nothing happens when you choose the command: Command: Print Preview Typesets the score If you have a score layout selected it will use that otherwise all movements staffs and lyrics are typeset by default. Be patient! It takes time to create a beautifully laid out score. Once complete you can view and then send to your printer or to a file as a .pdf document. Location: Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Print Internal Name: PrintView What happens when you tick the check box View->Typeset Music ? > and I can't export files to .MIDI. > > Export to PDF and export to PNG are working ok. > > Is there any procedure I should try to fix the midi export ? I assume you are using the command: Command: Export MIDI Export the score as a MIDI file Location: Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Export As Internal Name: ExportMIDI which only issues a debug message to the terminal when it fails and nothing when it succeeds. I've improved this to let you know exactly what has been saved to disk and a Windows build of this will be built overnight. So could you download and try http://www.denemo.org/~jjbenham/mxe/denemo.zip tomorrow and report back what it does when you export as MIDI? (This is the no-install version - see the downloads page at denemo.org for details). Richard
