Update of bug #61107 (project denemo): Status: None => Postponed Open/Closed: Open => Closed
_______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #4: you wrote: "fixed the sound by pointing the audio output in Preferences/Audio/Output device to "ALSA: HDA Intel PCH: HDMI 0(hw:0,3)" This fix will work, but has the drawback that Denemo will hog the output (and correspondingly won't be able to start playing if something else is using it). The correct fix is outside of Denemo - in the Alsa control panel you should set up the default device to be the one you want and specify "default" in Denemo. Then Denemo will coexist with other programs (vlc, audacity etc). " GLib - CRITICAL: g_string_assign: assertion 'string != NULL' failed" that is happening on every start, fortunately it is harmless Thank you for the feedback about the initial start up - I've often wondered whether people would find it just too annoying. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?61107> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
