That is why you can set it to auto typeset only a range of bars/staffs
about the cursor etc.
Ah, I didn't know about that feature.
However, after doing one manual typeset (by clicking on the
printer symbol)
That would be in the Tools toolbar...
Yes, indeed.
to see my result, automatic typesetting is running again
I just created a new file with Continuous typesetting activated, put in
some notes, de-activated Continuous by clicking on the button in the
Print View and then adding more notes and manually re-typesetting with
the printer icon, then adding more notes, continuous typesetting stayed
off.
although it is still deactivated in the settings.
Would that be in the Edit->Change Preferences->Auto-Typeset?
Yes, indeed.
I see there are options there to change the re-typeset interval and the
range of music to be re-typeset as well as turning auto typeset off and
on, but I haven't touched these in recent years...
Can you reproduce the bug reliably?
When I create a new score with automatic typesetting activated (all
values on default), put in some notes, deactivate automatic typesetting,
and then enter more notes, the preview still updates. After restarting
Denemo, automatic typesetting always behaves correctly as configured in
the settings.
