Ok got it.
executed this:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] [~/DenyHosts-2.5]# python setup.py install
running install
running build
running build_py
running build_scripts
running install_lib
running install_scripts
changing mode of /usr/local/bin/denyhosts.py to 755
running install_data
[EMAIL PROTECTED] [~/DenyHosts-2.5]#
now I'm getting a new error:
starting DenyHosts: /usr/bin/env python /usr/local/bin/denyhosts.py
--daemon --config=/usr/share/denyhosts/denyhosts.cfg
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/local/bin/denyhosts.py", line 5, in ?
import DenyHosts.python_version
ImportError: No module named DenyHosts.python_version
