Looks like a bug to me.

In the "daemon-control" script, the "start" routine needs to be a  
little smarter. It should:

- check to see if the daemon is already running (if so, display  
"already running" msg)

- check for an orphaned DENYHOSTS_LOCK file (remove if present)
