Hi. I am running:
Debian 4.0 denyhosts 2.6-1 Symptoms: denyhosts automatically adds all ip addresses to hosts.deny list even if they log in successfully. Of course, the accounts that log in successfully only manage to do so once as they are blocked from doing so a second time by the hosts.deny rule. Attempted solutions: No changes in the denyhosts.config file have any effect. I even tried this KNOWN TO WORK config file on my system and the symptoms are still the same. Sample known working config file can be seen here: http://pastebin.ca/641386 Please note that as already noted the config file on pastebin is known to work and is from another users configuration yet it denyhosts still insists on automatically blocking all ips addresses even those that successfully log in once. Any tips or suggestions would be welcome, this trully makes no sense. Thanks! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
