Can anyone tell me if it is possible and if how, I would put denyhosts into audit mode? What I would like to do is run denyhosts and have it go through the motions of blocking IP's and users without it actually changing the /etc/hosts.deny file. I would like to run this way for testing, debugging and monitoring purposes.
