Hi Andrei,

Thanks very much for the updated Test.java. It reproduces the problem for me, 
too, now.

I think the problem may be closely related to this: 
";collation=TERRITORY_BASED:SECONDARY"

When I remove the "collation=" from the JDBC Connection URL, the Test.java 
program no longer
reproduces the problem for me.

Can you confirm that finding when you get a chance?
