Richard N. Hillegas commented on DERBY-7056:
--------------------------------------------
Hey Mark,
I've unassigned myself from this issue. I suggest that you assign it to
yourself and submit a patch since it looks like you and Christoph have a good
idea about what needs to be tweaked. I take it that we will need to include a
new ant plugin with the source code in order to support the bnd tool. I can
review your patch and commit it when it's ready. Thanks.

> OSGi R7 introduced support for JPMS modules in 2018 according to
> https://blog.osgi.org/2018/02/osgi-r7-highlights-java-9-support.html. This
> includes additional information which goes into jar file manifests. Support
> for this OSGi information was requested by an email thread on the user list:
> We need advice from OSGi experts on how to make Derby modules usable by
> OSGi-aware applications.
