I executed derbyall on solaris10-x86. There were 10 failures.
But none of them were related to ExbeddedException or Exception message
The failed tests on the non netwerk side are
derbyall/derbyall.fail:lang/wisconsin.java
derbyall/derbyall.fail:tools/iepnegativetests.sql
derbyall/derbyall.fail:i18n/urlLocale.sql
derbyall/derbyall.fail:i18n/messageLocale.sql
derbyall/derbyall.fail:i18n/iepnegativetests_ES.sql
out of these the test was not able to load wisconsin.sql I tried running
this test on unpatched code and I saw the same problem.
Rest of these have been failing since quite sometime.
On network client side
derbyall/derbynetclientmats/derbynetmats.fail:derbynet/sysinfo.java
derbyall/derbynetclientmats/derbynetmats.fail:jdbcapi/metadata.java
derbyall/derbynetclientmats/derbynetmats.fail:lang/forupdate.sql
derbyall/derbynetclientmats/derbynetmats.fail:lang/wisconsin.java
derbyall/derbynetclientmats/derbynetmats.fail:lang/syscat.sql
Most of these failures are because they were listed in exclude.

Quick question: what tests did you run, and what were the results? For future
patches, it's great to provide this information. I'll take a look at the patch
(as I'm sure Dan will too :) ).
