Myrna van Lunteren commented on DERBY-1278:
-------------------------------------------

Some further checking shows that this may be somewhat intermittent with 10.1...

I got the following:
ibm14  DerbyNetClient   10.1 -> extra error (java.net.SocketException:
connection reset)
              DerbyNet              10.1 -> pass
              DerbyNetClient   10.2 -> pass
              DerbyNet              10.2-> pass
ibm15  DerbyNetClient 10.1 -> hangs
              DerbyNet 10.1 -> hangs, error, or pass
              DerbyNetClient 10.2 -> hangs
              DerbyNet             10.2 -> hangs

> hang on shutdown after getting both DriverManager and DataSource connections

> On zOS with ibm15, version 10.1.2.4 and 10.2 both hang at the end of the test
> derbynet/testSecMec.java.
> The test output shows that it's done with the last test, but never prints the
> 'Completed testSecMec' message, and derby.log shows that it's apparently
> successfully done a shutdown:
