Laura, here is some info based on what I know. May be someone else can verify it. Also, please feel to reword/rephrase the info below Function Run Derby in Derby SQL Authorization mode. When this property is set to true, grant/revoke is enabled in Derby. Once this property is set to true, it can't be set to false again.. Derby uses the type of user authentication specified with the derby.authentication.provider property. For more information about grant revoke, see "??? in Chapter ??? of the Derby ???'s Guide. Default False Example -- system-wide property derby.database.sqlAuthorization=true This is a system wide property.
