I just noticed that all the links in the "Subscription: Derby: JIRA issues
with patch available" emails from JIRA
are broken. For instance, the link for DERBY-1490 has the following url:
http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-1490DERBY-1980
Is this a known problem?
It's a problem with gmail. Gmail attempts to turn URLs into links and
in this case, incorrectly grabs the first part of the next line of
text as part of the URL that starts on the previous line. If you use
gmail's 'show original' command, you can see that the original mail is
plain text.
I haven't reported the problem to the gmail people, feel free to do so.
