Thank you for the careful review and the great comments, Andrew! I think I have
implemented them all, though I have a couple of additional questions. Also I
found several more files in the Admin Guide that need fixes. Here are the
details.
rtools1003161.dita: Is this what you had in mind for a Dev Guide reference?
There's the equivalent of a whole chapter on the subject of deploying
applications, so it was hard to be very precise.
ttoolsij11815.dita: It appears that the DERBY-1217 fix to ij that you mention
(assuming a default protocol of 'jdbc:derby') has not yet been made, so I just
removed the sentence saying that the scripts set the ij.protocol property; I
hope that what you meant? The detailed information on setting the property is
in "Connecting to a Derby database". I also cleaned up the formatting.
New discoveries:
tadminapps811302.dita: Added derbyrun.jar info; updated ij information; cleaned
up formatting.
tadminapps811345.dita: Made dblook command line one example rather than the
only way to do it; added reference to Tools Guide for details on running the
utility; cleaned up formatting.
tadminappschangingyourclasspath.dita: Added derbyrun.jar info and modified info
on other jar files (please check carefully; I'm not sure I got this right);
updated script names; cleaned up formatting (including removal of Arbortext
artifacts).
tadminconfig815768.dita: Added derbyrun.jar info; updated sysinfo information;
cleaned up formatting.
tadminconfigsysteminformation.dita: Updated information on sysinfo; added
reference to Tools Guide for details on running the utility; cleaned up
formatting.
I think after these there are only a few additional files to fix for
DERBY-1709. I can work on that if you like.
