Thanks for the review, Dag. I agree that the example table function doesn't
show the tricky bits of stubbing out ResultSet methods. I think what I would
like to do is this: check in my demo code (for my Apachecon talk) and then
point the user guide at the demo code. I think this will give the user an
extensive example of how to write table functions.
I don't know how to improve the description of optimizer units. They are sort
of measures of milliseconds scaled by an environment-specific imprecision
factor. Would it help to say that? Better words are welcome.
