And another rather similar query. For this one, the poster commented that
the query worked if the ORDER BY specified NAME1, but not if it specified 
FIRSTNAME.

SELECT DISTINCT ISNULL(FirstName, '') AS Name1 FROM Person.Contact ORDER BY 
FirstName
