Well, the cases reported with DERBY-3926 and DERBY-4240   have been 
resolved as far as we know and I believe that users have picked up the 
fix.  I  think it is fine to leave it open if you think that is the 
right thing to do, but don't think it should be backed out without a 
replacement that fixes these issues.
