Thanks for the quick review, Knut. I will make the change you suggest. I think
there is also an unchecked deadlock in this solution which arises if we have to
update the catalog tuple in the execution transaction (not the subtransaction).
That work happens inside the critical section and I think that the Java
synchronization could deadlock with the Store lock. Need to think about how to
tackle this. Thanks.
