I think that it is reasonable for JavaDB project to focus Web developers on
such a database. And one thing about automatic (read: stress) testing is
kind of tools for generating both database side test code & web scripting
code (PHP 5, Java, etc.) testing code. Unit test frameworks is a good thing,
- but all those database testing tools do not generate testing code, they
execute binary stuff in memory from client side (read: performing stress).
This is a big minus, huge one for Web developers. John
