Thanks for the patch Knut. It is clear and a quick sanity check verifies that
it describes the actual behavior of Derby. I didn't check whether this behavior
conforms to the SQL Standard. I assume it does and I'm sure that your
buddy-tester, Dag, will verify that. +1 to commit these changes. Thanks.
