I think that the compilation error is because this particular class
(SystemProcedures.java) is
compiled against the JSR169 version of SQLException, which you can find in
./java/stubs/jsr169/java/sql/SQLException.java, and that version of
SQLException does
not have a constructor which takes a Throwable.
What did you think about Knut Anders's suggestion of going back to your earlier
patch,
and overriding setNextException in EmbedSQLException to clear the simpleWrapper
flag?
