Dag H. Wanvik edited comment on DERBY-5081 at 5/9/11 4:50 PM:
--------------------------------------------------------------
Also on this platform combo, I sometimes see another error which I suspect is
related:
..Exception in thread "WorkerThread. Thread#5"
junit.framework.AssertionFailedError
at junit.framework.Assert.fail(Assert.java:47)
at junit.framework.Assert.assertTrue(Assert.java:20)
at junit.framework.Assert.assertTrue(Assert.java:27)
at
org.apache.derbyTesting.functionTests.tests.store.InterruptResilienceTest$WorkerThread.run(InterruptResilienceTest.java:430)
In this case also, the reason is that a tread's interrupted flag was lost
(during re-preparing a statement). It could be the same underlying error. If,
when we get a fix for the JDK 7, it doesn't remove this symptom, we should file
a different issue for it.
[edit: I filed DERBY-5223 for this - it is a different issue]
