Hi Kristian. Work on DERBY-4437 fixed a related problem: now we don't leak 
identity/sequence values on normal exit. And work on that issue makes it 
possible to set the length of the preallocated range to 1, which will stop 
Derby from leaking identity/sequence values at the cost of reducing 
scalability. However, if you want good scalability then you have to tolerate 
leaking identity/sequence values on abnormal exit. So it seems to me that this 
issue is still alive. Thanks-Rick
