Hello: The materials from my OSCON tutorial (slides, handouts, and solutions) are now available from http://coffeecode.net/archives/16-Apache-Derby-tutorial-OSCON-2005-materials.html
The material was based on the 10.1-alpha release, so it is reasonably up-to-date. If anyone bases their own tutorials on this material, I would recommend taking an hour for each section and having all of the downloads available on disk; 45 minutes per section with spotty wireless coverage was just too tight.
