Ah okay. I think the reason this is becoming a firedrill now whereas it never 
was before is that this hasnt always been an alpha criterion, maybe only the 
past 2-3 releases. Traditionally we'd considered ourselves in super bonus 
awesome shape if we had something for alpha; we shifted our schedule earlier to 
do this regularly to get more feedback on the artwork.
