Hi Alec,

I’m not sure exactly where the design email list gets
filed in the wiki as I’ve kind of been too busy to
search the wiki lately. To be frank, I'm not even a
developer. My day job is in medical field (GP / ER),
and since you also appear to reside in Ontario
(judging by your email address), you're probably well
aware of our us family docs being overloaded. :^(

By cactus window, I was essentially referring to a
possible future phase of Chandler which might employ a
user customizable virtual chalkboard where
relationships between some important items within
Chandler’s subapplications could be depicted along one
plane similar to TuxCards’ cactus filing system for
it’s memos. However, I was trying to extend the model
further by allowing for a 3-D view of this plane to
depict how items in within the cactus relate along to
the user’s time axis according to two types of time
filters that could be applied over the cactus plane.
One was to view items according to due date filter
(ex. items due within the next 24 hours, those due
within next 7 days, and those due within next month).
The other time filter was according to the Now, Later,
Done triaging system.

Cheers,
Selva
