| The "Chandler in a Nutshell" presentation I sent out a few weeks ago has had a celebrity makeover and is now officially in the "Looking for feedback" stage. It is now available in the Projects wiki at: http://wiki.osafoundation.org/bin/view/Projects/NutshellCartoons What are we trying to accomplish with this page? 1. To communicate Chandler's high level goals and design philosophy through a structural understanding of the design. 2. We want people to walk away from these presentations with an overall sense of how Chandler strives to be innovative in the PIM space and why people should care about it. Who is our audience? The community of people who come to find out more about Chandler as a result of the 0.6 release. This group is going to be varied and impossible to pin down in an exact persona. However, we generally expect that people who manage to click down this far beyond the 0.6 landing page will have a higher tolerance for complexity and are specifically interested in understanding something beyond Chandler's elevator pitch. What 's still missing? 1. A high-level paragraph explaining OSAF's mission statement with respect to Chandler, which we are still working on. 2. A slide deck on our open source collaborative design process. 3. A slide deck on GTD in Chandler. Please feel free to post feedback to the list or to write comments at the bottom of the wiki page. Specifically, we're looking for: 1. Grammar and typos :o) 2. Where are there leaps in logic that make the slides hard to understand? 3. Overall tone and approach Thanks! Looking forward to your thoughts. Mimi :o) |
